Directors
Chris Parry
Managing Director
Founder and owner of Fortis Insolvency, a North West firm of Licensed Insolvency Practitioners based in Didsbury, Manchester.
Experience
Chris has over 30 years experience in the Insolvency and financial services sector having started his career with Barclays Bank before moving into private practice to work on an array of personal and corporate insolvency assignments.
Chris has majored on business development and driving to develop new commercial opportunities within the Insolvency space, as well as hands on operational experience in the development and growth of the practice. Chris aims to deliver practical straightforward thinking and concise professional advice concerning all matters of corporate insolvency.
Interests
Chris has a love for all sports and is a season ticket holder at Everton where he spends most of his weekends watching the team with his two boys. When not at the football, Chirs can now be found on a local Padel court!
Daniel Taylor
Insolvency Practitioner
Daniel is a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner heading up the Restructuring and Insolvency team at Fortis, focusing predominantly on corporate Insolvency appointments.
Experience
With over 20 years of experience, Daniel started out in the Restructuring Services team at Deloitte in 2003 where he qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2009 before qualifying as an Insolvency Practitioner in 2013.
After 14 years Daniel left Deloitte and joined Fortis in October 2017 as an appointment taking Insolvency Practitioner. He has established himself as a key member of the firm having been involved in a diverse selection of corporate insolvency appointments and notably a number of large Administration cases.
Interests
Daniel is an avid fan of football / martial arts and has recently started CrossFit. Most of his free time is generally spent with his daughter but he occasionally finds time to hack his way around the golf course.
